Childhood Obesity is dangerous for your child

Childhood obesity is caused due to the excessive accumulation of fat affecting the health of the children. The cause for childhood obesity is due to the bad dietry habits, sedentary life style, genetics, home environment, mental depressions, psychological reasons, intake of certain kind of medicines and lifestyle. Childhood obesity is the cause of many health complications such as irregular sleep, type 2 diabetes, increase in blood pressure level, mental stress, heart disease, etc. If a child is obese in his/her early age, he tends to develop obesity during his/her adult age also. The diet for children should be chosen in such a way that it is not much rich in fat content. This doesn’t mean that the diet for children should be a crash diet. The healthy diet for children should be chosen in such a way that he can follow it for a long period of time. The healthy diet for children can also be included in the menu listing of the family also. A physician can be consulted about the healthy diet for children. The diet for children should contain fiber rich foods, foods and vegetables. Water must not be substituted with milk or other liquid items. Exercise should be made compulsory. An hour work out can not only decrease the childhood obesity, but also increases the immunity level, strengthens various parts of the body and decreases the mental stress. Overweight children will have mental depressions and they will have a poor self respect. Hence, it is necessary to take proper steps at the right time to reduce the childhood obesity. It will help to avoid many health complications and mental illness.
